Protocol for Foreign Dignitaries

I found a note which I wrote in 2014 during our first seminar-training for the APEC. Before I throw the paper (I was cleaning by the way), I might as well post the notes which I think might be helpful for future use and for people working in this field.

Feel free to take note of this.

So, here it is:

NEEDS FOR FOREIGN DELEGATES

1.) Arrival and Departure Courtesies
2.) Transport Requirements from point of arrival, conference to point of departure
3.) Hotel Accommodation
4.) Tourism and Shopping Needs

DUTY EXERCISE
1.) Welcome
2.) Safety Briefing
3.) Remind Schedule for the morning / afternoon

Cluster Information:
"Sir, may I just remind you of your schedule this morning."

Reminders:
1.) Don't spend for your delegates.

* Reception = cocktails
* New Venue = new briefing

*Standard APEC Hospitalities
*Standard Security Convoy Package

Here are my colleagues during our cocktail party simulation/training.

Cebu City Team APEC Liaison Officers / Trainees

*Now I'm thinking of making a post about our training on basic protocols in the future.

The Search for the Red Velvet Cupcake

The Cofifi Experience

This was supposed to be a snacks treat for Wang2,
only to find out that we were just actually
eating a cupcake for lunch...eeeek!
{gutom much after}

However, I was glad to find the famous, most-searched Red Velvet Cupcake in this local coffee shop, which I first saw on cable TV from "DC Cupcakes", a reality show based in the U.S. The taste is not that yummy though, just like the average cupcake you eat for quick-snacks in an ordinary day. I was actually expecting it to be very tasty...oh well...

I had been planning to go here since last year with my li'l sissy, but still haven't visited with her due to my not-so-normal work schedule (talking about night shifts ei, darn!) Anyway, check out the coffee shop more on these blogs that I pasted here below from fellow Cebuanos and tourists and friends for their reviews and testimonials.

~Enjoy! :D

[Well, here are some of the pics i took inside.]

You could find them at the Treehouse Bldg., Aboitiz St.
(just beside STC carport)

or

You could also LiKE their page on facebook:

Be sure to visit this "it" and slick coffee shop since
there's no better way to enjoy a hot mug of coffee (or cold if you prefer)
especially during rainy days in a perfect haven...

& indeed, there's nothing like the smell of coffee mixed with the smell of the rain. :)
